Licensed Hunting Guides in Arizona (860 State Listings)

License data verified Oct 26, 2026. State list dated Mar 19, 2026. How we verify

Arizona has no public guide directory. This list came from the Arizona Game and Fish Department through a public records request; we show the name, city and state, and guide type only. AZGFD's guide page explains the license but has no public search, so contact AZGFD to confirm a guide's license.

Federal permit records add facts to 209 of these 860 profiles (in 33 business groups): hunt units and species from BLM ePlanning permit projects, and permit expiry and website from the USFS Apache-Sitgreaves 2026 permit list. Each fact is labeled with its source and year. They are marked "Federal permit" in the A to Z list.

Arizona licensed hunting guides are recorded by the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD). Our directory lists 860 licensed hunting guides from the AZGFD guide license list (dated Mar 19, 2026). Each profile links to the AZGFD guide license page, but AZGFD has no public license search, so contact AZGFD to confirm a license before booking.

FAQ

How do I check a Arizona licensed hunting guide?

AZGFD has no public license search, so contact AZGFD to confirm a guide's license. Each Arizona profile here links to the AZGFD guide license page. Source: AZGFD guide license page.

Which species do these licensed hunting guides hunt?

The AZGFD guide license list doesn't name species. For 145 of the 860 licensed hunting guides, a BLM permit project names species; those profiles show each species with the project, year and a link. Ask the licensed hunting guide which hunts they offer.

Where do the BLM and USFS permit details come from?

From public federal records: BLM ePlanning project pages for Arizona Special Recreation Permits, and the USFS Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests 2026 list of permitted hunting and fishing outfitter-guides. Each fact on a profile names its source and year and links to it. A BLM permit is current when its project page gives an end date on or after today; with no stated end date, a project dated before 2022 is shown as a historic permit. Units on historic permits are not shown as current. When the record names the business rather than the guide, the profile says it is the business's permit.

Does a listing mean the licensed hunting guide is recommended?

No. A listing here only shows the name appears in the AZGFD guide license list. We don't review, rank or endorse licensed hunting guides.
